Adversa Strategy Group advises people through the federal criminal justice process — from investigation through reentry. Its Life Continuity service handles the practical collapse a sentence causes: power of attorney, housing, debt, healthcare, identity.
Two of those areas — mortgage and insurance — are licensed activities. They cannot be performed by a consulting firm, and referring them out for a fee is prohibited by federal law in the case of mortgages.
AFIP is the answer to that constraint: a separate, properly licensed entity, co-owned with an operating partner who holds the licenses, structured under RESPA's Affiliated Business Arrangement exception so the economics are ownership-based rather than referral-based.

Attorney referrals are handled entirely separately and never through AFIP — non-lawyer ownership of legal referral revenue remains barred by bar rules in nearly every state.
